La Réserve is an ongoing project investigating the artist’s studio and how it differs from commonly held productive spaces. This research will be looking further into architectural forms of production, display and storage as well as exploring notions around the artist’s studio as a place of fabrication, dissemination, and commodification. It will be shaped around a series of conversations and events that will take place in, and be broadcast from, the studio as a way to tease out existing relationships between multiple or singular economies, places, objects, and individuals.

The first online iteration of La Réserve (Morning / Afternoon / Night Shift) includes images and sound pieces made in the Project studio at Temple Bar Gallery+Studios, Dublin, Ireland. Each piece aims to capture and generate a sense of where La Réserve is taking place by reflecting on the action of spending time and the state of being latent in relation to self-contained spaces.

Welcome to Tomorrow was a one day closing event, an end note, a daytime fragrance. This public event took place as a conclusion of my one year Project Studio at Temple Bar Gallery & Studios. Accompanied by an operator, participants were invited to experience a brief journey elevating them up around 14 meters high to glance at the artist’s studio through its window.
